Susan Foster

Susan Foster and her partner, former Toronto Maple Leaf defenseman Carl Brewer, spent 17 years investigating National Hockey League pensions and the activities of R. Alan Eagleson, then executive director of the National Hockey League Players' Association. Their determination and efforts resulted in Eagleson's incarceration and the NHL players receiving their entitled diverted pension funds totalling more than 50 million. Foster is a former high school French teacher and real estate agent. She is retired and lives in Toronto.
