Anthony T Troncale

In addition to 13 years as a photography librarian and founding head of the New York Public Library’s Digital Imaging Unit, Troncale was the first Erna and Victor Hasselblad Study Center Supervisor at the Photography Collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Later he became Assoc. Dir. of the American Museum of Natural History Library’s Special Collections and Digital Library Program. As a free-lance digital photographer Troncale’s clients have included the Morgan Library and Museum, the International Center for Photography, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Monicelli Press, and the NYC Public Design Commission. Troncale was a board member and past president of the Camera Club of New York (1988-1992). Troncale has a BFA in Photography from the University of Texas/Austin and an MLS from Pratt Institute (1991). He is from Houston, Texas and lives in New York City.
