Travis Theiss

My origin story to becoming a published children's book author began when Covid hit. I found myself out of a job, but immediately thrust into a new role as a stay-at-home Dad for my three kids, ages 9, 6 and 2 years old. I helped my kids through the last months of the 2020 virtual school year. With job prospects still not available, I decided to become their virtual school teacher. Being a first time teacher for a 3rd grader, kindergartner and dealing with a toddler was an interesting experience, but we all survived. It did give me great inspiration to finally become a published children's book author.
