Gopal Ramanan

Author Gopal Ramanan started his writing career at a young age. As a teenager, he managed to get a few short stories, and a couple of poems, published in a local magazine in New Delhi, India. He came to the United States when he was 21 and has lived in the U.S. since then. He set aside his writing for a few decades in order to devote all his time to his work and family. But his interest in writing fiction never left him, and beginning in 2018, he resumed writing in earnest. As of July 2026, he has published three short story collections, two mystery novels, and one collection of mystery stories. His books have received 5-Star ratings on Amazon, and very good reviews from readers and literary sites. Sadly, in 2017, his beloved wife, to whom he had been happily married for 38 years, passed away. He has dedicated every one of his books to his beloved, and feels that she is guiding him in his journey. He is currently at work on another mystery novel.
