Jeffrey Froh

Jeffrey J. Froh, Psy.D. is a bestselling author and Professor of Psychology at Hofstra University. He is the founder and past Clinical Director of the Positive Psychology Institute for Emerging Adults and co-owner of Positive Psychological Counseling Services, PLLC. A Distinguished Teacher of the Year recipient, Dr. Froh created a Positive Psychology course that is among the most popular in Hofstra’s history. His books include Making Grateful Kids, If Time Fell From the Sky (co-authored with his 10-year-old daughter), and Thrive: 10 Commandments for 20-Somethings to Live the Best-Life-Possible. Dr. Froh's work has appeared in the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and New York Times. Most weekends, he and his family eat bagels at the beach and skip rocks.
