Hannah is an Filipinx illustrator and writer based in CID Seattle, WA.
At a young age, Hannah loved to write stories. For her family and friends birthday's she would write and illustrate little books that were held together by staples. Her parents saw her love of art and writing and knew that it she had to do something with it. Little did they know that she would be writing her first book about the heritage they had given to her. Most of Hannah's stories and artwork is very much inspired by her Filipino culture, especially the delicious food.
Purple Ube is the first published book of Hannah's. It is a children's book that tells the story of how the food from different cultures can create learning and community.
