Rick Scott was born in Rochester, NY and graduated from St. John Fisher College in 1989. He was one of the creators of “Hip Hop Alley” which was the first Rap Video show in Upstate New York. He moved to New Jersey in 1994 and spend two years working in promotions for TVT Records pushing recording artists like Lil Jon, The Ying Yang Twins, Ja Rule, Irv Gotti and Mic Jeronimo. He was offered a position in Atlanta with Ichiban Record and spend a short time in Georgia before eventually leaving the music industry and moving to North Carolina. That is when he discovered writing and penned his first book, “How to Catch a Cheater”. He is working on several new books. Look for new titles soon.
