Carmen Wright

Carmen Wright is the author of Eila’s Guide to Finding Love in Another World (coming Nov 2026), a portal fantasy romance for adults, and the children’s chapter books Spy Skills for Girls and the Tri-City Mysteries series. She loves stories that expand our sense of what is possible, what it means to be human, and the weird, wonderous, complex world we live in (or can imagine!). Carmen has written across a variety of formats including books, comics, screenplays, and interactive games, and believes the story dictates the format through which it’s told.

Carmen works as an Author Accelerator™ certified book coach, helping writers who feel uncertain and stuck, to get clarity on how to bring their vision for their story to life and what’s next to make that happen. She leverages her experience as an indie author, expertise in design and marketing, and coaching skills to help writers from the idea stage, through revisions and publishing.

Carmen lives in Coquitlam, British Columbia (Canada), surrounded by mountains, ocean, family, friends, and her sweet labrador retriever.
