Ben Hammond

Ben Hammond was born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan, and attended Tennessee Temple University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.

He finished his Master of Divinity with Liberty Theological Seminary (Lynchburg, VA) in December of 2012, and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree with Grace Theological Seminary (Winona Lake, IN) in 2016.

Ben was called to preach in 2000 while attending Lupton Drive Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was ordained to the ministry in that church. He served for one year as assistant/interim pastor in Florida, five years as pastor in West Virginia, and nine years in Bremen, Indiana. He came to be the pastor of Eastlake Baptist Church in Crown Point, Indiana, in April of 2017.

Ben and his wife Lori have four children. He also serves on the board of Portage Christian School in Portage, Indiana.
