Stephanie Ahlen

Stephanie Ahlen knows the islands of Hawaii well because she lived there for several years. During her time in Honolulu, she came up with the idea of a crime thriller set in this special setting on the other side of the world.

Years later, a few handwritten fragments became the first Honolulu crime novel about the Hawaiian police officer Kalei and his former partner Lauren. The interspersed information on the population, nature and culture make the special charm of this novel.

Stephanie Ahlen now lives and works alternately in Münster and on a sailing boat in the Mediterranean.
