Cara M Hill

Hello, my name is Cara Hill I am the Author of The Giving Bag Book! I am also a wife and mother to 3 children, Kamryn 9, Charlotte 7, and Bennett 5. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and we have been together for what seems like forever! My husband was in the USN, and we lived in California for 4 years before we had children. In California we met many lifelong friends! We moved back to Michigan in 2012 before the birth of our first daughter. We have lived in Kalamazoo, MI ever since! We work together at AGC a family run business that my brother started in 2003. We welcomed our other two children in 2014 and 2015. So that is just a little background on me!

Now about my book!

During 2015 I started writing my book and I finished soon after Thanksgiving that year! In October of 2015 we welcomed out 3rd child and our family was complete! We started our tradition of The Giving Bag Book in 2016! We have read the book and had a Giving Bag every year since! My children look forward to going through their things and finding toys and clothes they don’t use/wear or fit anymore. My hopes are that you and your family find joy in The Giving Bag Book and will make it a family tradition!
