Antonius Poppelaars

Antonius Poppelaars is a Dutch-born writer. He has been living in Brazil since 2006.He holds a BA in English language and literature and a MA in language and literature. He has published scientific articles on language, literature, tragedy/drama and education (these publications are featured on https://orcid.org/). Antonius' first book was The Dutch Influence on the English Language, Culture and Literature (2019), which made it to the Amazon bestseller list. This title is now out of print and has been incorporated into Santa Claus, Outlaws and Butlers: The Dutch, Viking and French Influence on English (2021, also on Amazon's bestseller list). His other books are: Macbeth, Gatsby and Hillbillies: Literary Essays (2019) and Tragicidade, o Sonho Americano e o Drama Social: três ensaios sobre Arthur Miller.
