Alex Mcloughlin

Alex Mcloughlin is an English writer. Fond of an ancient yew or a spiral staircase, he enjoys exploring places where the sinister meets the everyday. Out there, where the people live; or deep within, where things can also become strange.

He writes because he enjoys telling stories and to keep from staring into the pond for too long. Partial to a psychological thriller or a paranormal mystery, it’s the edges of the web he finds most interesting. In those dark corners where things can cross between the hiding places, there are tales to be told.

Alex has only imaginary cats, so finds it difficult to communicate on social media. Despite this handicap, he endeavours to find interesting people nonetheless. On days when that doesn’t happen, he continues to make them up.
