JoAnna Mendl Shaw

Dancer, Choreographer, movement educator and embodied learning consultant, JoAnna Mendl Shaw creates performance works for stage, rural and urban landscapes. Her company, The Equus Projects tours the States and Europe creating site-specific performance works with dancers and horses and bringing Physical Listening into colleges and elementary schools, think tanks and educational design programs. Shaw has taught on the faculty at Tisch/NYU, Juilliard, Ailey, Marymount, Princeton, Mount Holyoke and Montclair State.
