I was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and live in the suburb of Surrey. I am a retired Sr. Research Technician who worked in the forest products sector. I have a keen interest in science and nature and enjoy being outdoors; whether it’s camping, canoeing, fishing, or simply gardening. Over the years I have created campfire stories to rival the best and written a few short stories. I’m also an avid amateur photographer, taking a camera on most adventures. My other hobbies include genealogy and family history, which also resulted in a few limited-edition unpublished books for families.
