Liz Irons

Liz Irons is a graduate of The George Washington University, having studied political communication and public health. She currently works in public relations in the health sector and has a keen interest in healthcare policy. This is mostly due to spending much of her early high school days in and out of the hospital as her mom’s companion during cancer treatment. After writing about her family’s experience for her local newspaper, Irons felt a strong urge to rekindle the comfort and strength she felt during that time in her life, and to share her full story. And so, her memoir: Life in Yellow was born.
