Growing up, I struggled a lot with obesity. Braced with the fact that it’s a risk factor for many diseases, I learned to take the bull by the horn to beat it. So, by the time I got to the age of 21, I have been able to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Having experienced the challenges and struggles attached to living with obesity, I became passionate about helping others access a better approach to nutrition. I guide them to embrace a healthier lifestyle that would last a lifetime: This marked the point of a new phase in my life.
In 2008, I obtained certification to become a Qualified Nutritionist. The benefits I got from changing my lifestyle would include improvements in metabolic function in many tissues, improvements in blood pressure, blood cholesterol, and blood sugars, and many more benefits. Also, I’m motivated to know that this has caused lots of my friends and family to be interested in weight loss and transitioning their lifestyle for the better. Thus the reason for writing my books.
As an exemplary teacher, I’m thrilled to use my past experiences to guide others in their journey to a healthier lifestyle. I’ve written a guidebook for weight loss. Harnessing my passion for cooking, I self-published my second book on Weight Loss Recipes. Whenever my pen hits a paper, I never fail to unleash more truth and tools that would help you gain that body you yearn for. So expect more books from Grace Dawson.
After turning 50, I changed the focus to my family, my husband, two kids, our dog, and of course, writing. Whenever I'm not busy spending quality time with my family or writing, I love to travel, and I am not backing off from trying new sports and experiences.
