David O Harrison

I was born and raised in England and immigrated to Canada in 1973 at the age of twenty-one. At thirty-five, my life changed completely when I became a follower of Jesus Christ—a decision that reshaped my faith, my purpose, and my future.

For over 25 years, I served at a Brethren Bible Chapel in Scarborough, Ontario, including 10 years as an elder. During that same season, I built a successful audiovisual integration company in Toronto, serving universities, law firms, and financial institutions.

In 2006, I founded Bus Stop Bible Studies, placing Scripture messages on public transit systems across Canada—seen an estimated one billion times. I also served for ten years as Board Chair for Daystar Native Christian Outreach on Manitoulin Island.

Today, my wife Wendy and I live in Muskoka, where we host guests at our award-winning Airbnb. I now devote myself to writing, including my life’s project of translating the works of C. S. Lewis into everyday English. Through Thrive! Books, my desire is simple: to help believers rediscover clear, living, New Testament faith.
