John Alcorn

John is a Senior Software Engineer at Kyndryl, a subsidiary of IBM. He worked for many years on WebSphere products, including WebSphere Application Server, IBM Business Process Manager and IBM Business Monitor as a developer and architect. The past few years he has focused on helping customers modernize their WebSphere or other Java Enterprise Edition applications to Open Liberty in Kubernetes on the cloud. He wrote and maintains the IBM Stock Trader cloud native application, which serves as an exemplar demonstrating best practices for authoring and deploying containerized microservices.
