With 20 years of experience battling wildfires across Canada, Australia, and the United States, Harold R. Larson brings a deeply personal perspective to his writing. His first memoir, Fire in the Eucalypts, chronicles his experiences during the 2009 Black Saturday Bushfires in Australia. His second memoir, The Wildfire Twenty, recounts the true story of leading one of Northern Alberta's first 20-person Unit crews. Currently working on the final installment of his wildfire trilogy, Larson now serves as a municipal firefighter on Canada’s west coast.
