Jason grew up in Commack, on Long Island, New York.

A volunteer firefighter until he decided to seriously pursue his passion and become an author.

These days he can usually be found at a vineyard on the North Fork of Long Island, where he lives (on the North Fork, not the vineyards--although that might be up for debate) with his wife and two insanely co-dependent cats.
