ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Michaela Bressel has been an entrepreneur in the computer graphics and fitness industries for most of her life. She firmly believes in achieving goals by making a decision, followed by determination and action. Over the course of her marriage she’s run into obstacles she never thought she’d encounter, she never knew such problems existed! It’s important to Michaela that people who have endured the trial of being in a relationship with an enmeshed and/or narcissistic person know they’re not alone. To this end, Michaela wrote Married to Mom. She hopes readers will find the missing link between feeling something is wrong and making healthy decisions towards their future.

EARLY PRAISE
“This hands-on experience story "Married to Mom" illustrates exactly how people can turn psychological trauma into strength and power. But also that it is a matter of personal choice to ask for therapy, to do the research and find the motivation to save yourself or end up carrying a trauma throughout life. This book makes the reader identify with the author and move hand-in-hand towards a new reality. Painful at the beginning, it can lead to deep relief. Being aware of our trauma reduces its impact and the author is here to tell us how."
- Natalia Papakosta, Child and Adolescent Psychologist (MSC)
“There are so many people out there that will benefit from Michaela’s story and her research about narcissistic mothers and narcissism. This book is an eye-opener for those who go through emotional struggles and don’t know what questions to ask or who to ask. Personally I didn’t even know there was a silent type of narcissism, or unhealthy form of motherly love.”
- Deonna Eberhardt-Livandovskiy, Owner and CEO of Gallery Constructions LLC
"Great job on writing such a well-thought-out book! I know it must have been emotionally exhausting for you to tell your story, and I could tell how far you have come from reading your manuscript! It's so thoughtful and provides great perspective."
- Annie Taber, Copy Editor
"Very insightful book. I was glued to the pages. I applaud Michaela for reliving these painful years in order to write a book that helps others understand the dangers of mother enmeshment and covert narcissism."

“Having been in a similar relationship, this book is such an eye opener. If I had the insight and wisdom from this book back then my ‘escape’ would have gone easier! Way to go Michaela!”
