Jake Stehman

Jake Stehman is a self-proclaimed movie enthusiast with a love for fast-paced, engaging stories. For years, he struggled to find books that captured his interest in the same way movies did. Through his work as a recruiter, Jake had countless conversations with high school and college students who shared similar frustrations about the lack of captivating reads. These discussions, coupled with an unexpected layoff during the pandemic, motivated him to pick up the pen and create the kind of stories he had been searching for all along. In doing so, Jake uncovered a passion for writing he never knew he had.

Now, as an author, Jake hopes to inspire others to rediscover the joy of reading through his works, crafting stories that explore personal growth and the journey into adulthood.

When he's not writing, Jake works in talent acquisition and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Lebanon Valley College. A passionate sports fan and movie lover, he resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with his wife and their two young children.
