by Joann LaPorta

Joann LaPorta wrote RUPERT to bring the joys of reading and learning into the hearts of young folks. Her writing is unique because she teaches topics not so interesting to children using a self-reflective style and much humor. Her bonus Educational Supplement adds to each chapter's impact by encouraging thoughtful discussion of story elements and strengthening reading comprehension skills.

RUPERT will learn topics like Friendship, Manners, Responsibility, Self-Control, Self-Esteem, Kindness, Diversity, and more.

When Joann isn't working on her RUPERT series, she takes an interest in writing for her Etsy website - Joannskeepsakecards. She writes and designs beautiful handmade cards and unique gifts that are surely keepsakes.
