I had always dreamed of writing but life took me on very different paths. It's only recently, with being off work with a frozen shoulder/bad back, that I've had a bit of time to write some short stories.

My sister, Julie Pearce, had always wanted to use her artistic talents to draw and design. Having been made redundant in November 2020, she took the plunge in setting up her own business, Jools Design Because I can: https://www.facebook.com/joolsdesignbecauseican/. She is also studying for a degree in Graphic Design.

We decided to work together and combine our skills to produce our "Tad" books, all with subtle learning messages, interactive elements and fun facts. We have several stories written and in progress. "Tad's Rainbow Treasure", "I'll Just be a Tad" and "Jammy Tad" are already live. We are working on Tad's 2021 Christmas story, "Tad and the Christmas Jumper", and "It's Party Time Tad" will follow in 2022, with stories for Tad's Day at the Fun Fair and Tad's Sports Day still being drafted.

I have also written two other children's picture stories, "The Travelling Snail Tale" and "S-carecrow", with several more ideas bubbling under the surface, including a two-part or trilogy fantasy fiction for young adults and above. We'd also love to see Tad in cartoon form - that's how he started out in my head! I'll keep you posted.
