Matthew H. Ward

Matthew H. Ward is a historian and journalist who is the author of numerous published articles in print and online media sources. He is a native of Matawan, New Jersey, who currently lives outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters. He holds degrees from Arizona State University, Rutgers University-Camden, and the University of Pennsylvania. He is a U.S. Army veteran who now serves as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Ward runs a boxing website called The Weigh-In.

He is the co-author of the Arcadia Publishing books BOXING IN ATLANTIC CITY (2022) with John DiSanto, and THE RARITAN BAYSHORE (2023) with John Allan Savolaine.
