Husna Rahman

Husna Rahman was born in Sylhet, Bangladesh and grew up in the multicultural town of Camden, London.

Husna is a qualified Psychotherapist and works with both adults in her private practice and young people, within a children’s mental health charity. Husna considers her faith and family to be of utmost importance to her. She realised how much of a part both played in her life when she experienced the loss of a loved one in 2018. Now, a mother of two, Husna sees the significance of having open conversations with children about loss. When she isn’t spending time with her family and friends, you can find her producing spoken word poetry or baking a sweet treat. 'I Lost Something Very Special' is Husna’s debut children’s book. It is themed around loss and grief and from the perspective of a young child.
