Roger Carlson

Roger Carlson earned a master of science in Studies of the Future at the University of Houston (Texas). He worked in documentation of various aerospace projects from the Space Shuttle at the NASA Johnson Space Center to projects involving probes visiting Solar System bodies from Mercury to Pluto at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Along the way, he also supported energy research related to wind, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, biofuel, ocean thermal energy conversion, solution mining, and modular utilities. He published Saving the World Before Breakfast: A Better Green New Deal in 2020. That book used the proposed Green New Deal as a starting point and proposed a better program focusing on three areas of agriculture, nuclear fission, and ocean aquaculture-industry to mitigate the dangers of global warming and resulting potential for famine. He will be releasing Saving the World Before Breakfast: The Earth Alone Can Save Us in 2021. That book argues that agriculture alone can stop global warming.
