Abhishek Kumar pandey

I am Dr. Abhishek Kumar Pandey, an Assistant Professor in the field of Management at the School of Management Sciences, Lucknow. I completed my doctoral work in Human Resource Management from the Department of Management, University of Lucknow (NAAC A++) in 2024. My thesis was titled "Succession Management Practices in Corporate Firms in India." I am also qualified for the UGC-NET in Management.

I hold an MBA with a dual specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing from AKTU, Lucknow. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Gorakhpur (NAAC A++).

My research interests include Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, succession planning, general management, corporate strategy, multi-business firms, and entrepreneurial orientation. I am particularly passionate about exploring the issues and challenges related to succession planning and management in new-age startups.

I am a life member of the Indian Commerce Association (ICA), with Membership ID: UP1089. Since 2021, I have actively participated in panel discussions organized by the Center for Corporate Governance and Citizenship at IIM Bangalore. I have been reviewing research articles for The Organization Studies Journal Collection and the Diversity Journal Collection (both Scopus-indexed), affiliated with the Common Ground Research Networks, University of Illinois Research Park, USA. I also serve as a reviewer for the European Journal of Management Issues and the Journal of Industrial Information Integration (Scopus-indexed).

My research work has been published in journals indexed in ABDC, Web of Science, Scopus, and other peer-reviewed international journals.
