Jean Denton

Jean Denton has woven together her life-long interests in body and spirit. A native of Brooklyn NY, she studied nursing at Cornell University and Columbia University. After a career in public health, nursing education and health care administration, she studied spiritual direction at the Haden Institute in Niagara Falls Canada and was ordained to the diaconate and priesthood in the Episcopal Church USA. For many years, she served as faculty teaching parish nursing, health ministry, and clergy wellness. With Granger Westberg and others, she helped found Health Ministries Association and National Episcopal Health Ministries.
