John H Garot

John H. Garot, born and raised in Green Bay, WI. Graduated from Premontre High School and then went on to study at St. John's University, Collegeville, MN. Graduated from SJU and went on to graduate school at Arizona State University, Tempe, for nearly two years and earned a master's degree with credits beyond. Then, I went on active duty in the Army as an officer for two years in Germany. Following this, I began teaching school in WI. Two years later, I launched a marketing career, working for the Miller Brewing Company, Motorola Communications & Motorola Cellular, the Outboard Marine Corporation, and advertising agencies in both WI and IL. I semi-retired in the late 90s and now teach at the college level as an Associate Professor of English for DeVry University, the University of Maryland Global Campus, and the University of Phoenix, among other colleges and universities as well. Complementing my teaching, I write short stories for children and adults, in addition to other topics, such as my 50 dedicated prayers of Thanks and Hope.
