Stephen William Roth

Prior to writing Stand-In Santa, Stephen Roth co-authored a popular line of children's travel books. He later invented the kids “Do It Yourself Calendar” and “Color & Send Postcards.” Less successful inventions included his packets of all organic “Rock Garden Seeds” and the notable yet forgettable, “Water Glass Brick" designed to save water during times of drought.

Currently, Stephen lives in Eugene, Oregon where he co-founded a busy pizza restaurant and an Adventure Golf Park. The carousel depicted in his new book is based on the classic carousel he owns in Eugene. Many who have had the opportunity to ride on this carousel have called it MAGICAL.
