Colleen Larmour

Colleen graduated from the master's course in children's book illustration at Cambridge School of Art.

She is the author of A Crocodile Should Never Skip Breakfast, which was shortlisted in the World Illustration Awards 2024.

She has illustrated several other books with major and independent publishers including Brown Bears (Walker Books), This That What (Puffin) and Our Green City (Kids Can Press).

Colleen was awarded the 2026 Honour Award for Illustration in the KPMG Children's Books Ireland awards for her artwork in This That What, written by Katy Ashworth.

Her most recent authored picture book is titled Follow Me Moon, which publishes in the autumn of 2026 with Nosy Crow.

Colleen lives in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, with her husband and daughters.
