Corinne E. Blackmer

Corinne E. Blackmer is Professor of English and Judaic Studies at Southern Connecticut State University. She has published on a wide array of topics, including Jewish women's writing, the Hebrew Bible, contemporary antisemitism, modernism, modern American literature, pinkwashing, and women in opera. She has co-edited a volume on opera called En Travesti: Women, Gender Subversion, Opera, a study on remembrance and forgetting in contemporary Israeli literature, and has a forthcoming book that critiques the BDS advocacy of prominent queer critics, Queering Anti-Zionism: LGBTQ Intellectuals, Israel/Palestine Campus Activism, and Academic Freedom.
