Eyal Podell

Eyal Podell is an actor and screenwriter best known for his 2 year run on daytime's #1 soap THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and for writing Pixar / Disney’s CARS 3, ANGRY BIRDS 2, Warner Animation’s SMALLFOOT and 2020 Scooby-Doo reboot SCOOB. Alongside writing partner Jonathon E. Stewart, he’s written screenplays for Dreamworks Animation, Universal, Warner Bros., Paramount, ABC Studios, STX, Paramount Animation, Sony Animation, Fox Animation and served on Pixar's Braintrust from 2013-2014. In 2012, Podell & Stewart’s screenplay Seuss—a biopic about the legendary children’s book author—earned the #2 slot on Hollywood’s Black List and is currently being produced under Jason Blum's prestige umbrella at Blumhouse Productions.

Over the years, he’s booked a long list of acting credits on prime time TV as a regular, recurring character or guest star. Highlights include an arc on FOX’s hit series 24, and a lead role in the ABC series DEFYING GRAVITY. On the feature side, he's worked with legendary actors and directors, including Al Pacino, Gene Hackman and Michael Mann.
