KaZ Akers was first published at the age of 14. She went on to write published and produced plays, music, informational television series and television pilots, articles for print and online magazines, for websites, in book and magazine compilations, was the resident poet and meditation teacher for The Pro-Age Woman Magazine and writes for the Spiritual Naturalists Society. She also had a busy career in entertainment as a performer, creative director, choreographer, producer and theatrical creative director. KaZ is a meditation master teacher and Qigong teacher and revels in practicing in nature. She is a dedicated conservationist. KaZ has had as her animal family: 11 dogs, 22 cats, 6 rats, 1 rabbit, 3 chinchillas, 1 bearded dragon, one mouse, and she’s not done yet. Her three books: Brain Hug Meditation: Poetry, Short Stories and Meditation Exercises, Singsong Crows and Alphabet Soup: Poetry On Life and Drink Nature: Poetry on Nature have also been receiving glowing reviews.
