S. K. Kruse

S. K. Kruse is an author of speculative and mythic fiction whose work inhabits the intersection of philosophy, mysticism, and the uncanny. Her novel Of Beginnings and Ends (Deuxmers, 2026) received a Soul-Making Keats Literary Award from the National League of American Pen Women, and a story from Tales From the Liminal (Deuxmers, 2021) was longlisted for the John Steinbeck Award for Fiction. She is the creator of Tell the Story of Your Soul (Limen & Lumen, 2026), founder of Limen & Lumen and the annual Liminal Essay Contest, and co-curator of The Liminality Project. She writes from the Wisconsin Driftless, where she and her husband raised eleven children.
