Chinmay Basu

Chinmay Basu born in the year 1967 in Kolkata is presently a Professor at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. He did his Masters in Physics from University of Calcutta and PhD in Physics from the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. He joined Saha Institute as a faculty member in 2002 and is presently a Professor there. He is also presently the Incharge of the accelerator facility, FRENA in the institute. The author's current interests are in the field of Nuclear Astrophysics, related accelerators and its instrumentation and detection techniques.
