Bonga Makholwa is a self-published author who hails from a small town called Matatiele in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Born into a loving female dominated family in 1992 on the 11th of October, a month, and two weeks late. His journey through life begun at his birthplace in Matatiele, life took him to the heart of South Africa (Johannesburg) when he was to begin the process of education.
Coming from the rural areas of the Eastern Cape, going to the tall buildings of Johannesburg, and being in awe of new languages and faces that were new to him, it was an exciting road ahead.
Growing up he has always been the loudmouth, the energy carrier, and the one to bring all together.
This trait was born from the life he found himself in.
From waking up in the great dusty shacks of Jozi and then going to school where that life is a contrast.
It taught him humbleness and it taught him the abundance in life at the same time.
After completing the process of education and building of one’s character.
There was a moment to Self reflection, a moment to rediscover the curiosity of the child which was slowly fading away. It was the first steps of him moving out of his shell.
He wrote his first book ‘Thee Truth’ which was self published in June 2015.
After that he has been in constant enquiry and application of the truths that came with experience and change.
