Le Sonneur

Le Sonneur is a French visual artist. Trained as an architect, he has dedicated himself to his artistic practice since 2014.

Initially a street artist, he now embraces a wide range of expressions, from drawing to sculpture, including painting, photography, video and installation.

Imagining strange and poetic landscapes, houses and cities, his works explore the intimate and echo our stories and lives.

Since 2016, Le Sonneur has been regularly exhibited in Paris, Tokyo, Nagoya, Melbourne, Berlin, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

His works have appeared at auction since 2017 and are part of major private collections such as the Homen Residences Collection. He was awarded by Emerging Artist Award in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 2018.

Since 2021, Le Sonneur also presents his works in more than ten books. His first one, published in France, USA and UK, is hailed by The Washington Post as « one of the noteworthy books of 2021 ».

His book, « Et Mon Coeur Se Serra » (Flammarion, 2021) is released in France as in the United States and the United Kingdom as « Red is My Heart » (Gallic Books & Pushkin Press). In the same period, his first graphic novel, « Le Poisson de Monsieur Carassin », was published, followed by « Sur un nuage », « Rise », and « Par-dessus nous » in 2022; « Au loin tu verras » and « 203 Boulevard Raspail » in 2023; « Vous êtes ici » in 2024; and « Maisonneuve » in 2025.
