Sara Martinez

Sara Martinez is the co-founder of Retreat Leaders Mastermind and all-around business badass. She has been a dynamic force in the event world for 17 years, rallying high-vibe female entrepreneurs to take control of their businesses and re-ignite their purpose through transformational events. A visionary since the beginning, Sara’s passion as an event planner stems from a deep desire to be the droplet which creates an empowering ripple throughout the entrepreneurial world, bringing together women and creating connections that leave an impact. After witnessing the true power of holding supporting time and space for women, Sara found it was an area of life that filled her own cup as much as it filled others’.

Part-event planner, part-author, part-yoga teacher, and part-adventurer, Sara began her early career in corporate & nonprofit events. She started her first company at the age of 19, and then received her Certificate in Entrepreneurship in 2014. She is an avid researcher and enjoys learning about travel, health, wellness, and personal growth, which led her to become a certified Yoga Teacher in 2017. Eventually, she followed her heart (and her many passions) to create SM Specialty Events, a small-business-minded event company, and mostly recently launched Retreat Leaders Mastermind [LINK] with partner Jennifer Andino, which brings together several elements that the retreat sector lacks: accessibility, first-hand experience, a VIP done-for-you experience and a wider-than-wellness focus.
