Corey Green

Corey Green is an author, martial arts instructor, and dojo owner who has taught for nearly three decades. He founded Green's Karate in 1998 and has dedicated his career to helping students of all abilities succeed through martial arts.

Green has served as a USANKF referee, judge, coach, competitor, and instructor, and has been involved with USA Karate's Athletes with Disabilities programs for many years. Through his students and advocacy efforts, he has helped contribute to 23 historical milestones involving athletes with disabilities in American karate.

Raised in Alaska, Green's life experiences shaped the stories and lessons that would eventually inspire his writing. Although he never planned to become an author, he has written four books, including Improbable, a memoir chronicling the unlikely journey that took him from the wilderness of Alaska to building a life devoted to service, perseverance, and helping others overcome adversity.

Whether teaching, writing, coaching, or speaking, his mission remains the same: to leave the world better than he found it and to help others discover that what seems impossible today may only be improbable.
