Bruno Olivieri

Cagliari (Sardinia – Italy), 1960.

Author, artist, cartoonist, journalist.

He worked (and still works) on illustrations and comics, as a colourist as well as an artist with some of the major Italian publishers. He worked on Monster Allergy (Walt Disney Italia), Ratman a Colori (Panini Comics), Geronimo Stilton (Piemme), Paky e John Watson (Edizioni San Paolo).

He worked as a colourist for some French publishers, for Gargouilles (Humanoïdes Associés) and for Nefesis (Dupuis).

He creates illustrations for book for young readers and for political satire for some famous italian magazines (printed on paper and on line editions).

He won several awards. This is a list of some of them: Special Award for satire «CartaVetrata Prize 2008», Second Place at 6th edition of «Internazional Prize of Humor and Satire Giuseppe Novello 2012»,

Honourable Mention at «CartoonSea Prize 2012», Special Award at «CartoonSea Prize 2013», Commitee Special Award «International Festival of Ferrara 2015».

He worked as director, artist and animator in some cartoons movies.

Since 2018 he’s teacher in the Comics school “Fumé” of Cagliari (https://www.scuolafume.it).
