Now retired after a career in journalism, organizational communications, human services and education, John Pozza has taken the time to write three books: his most recent, Summer of ‘66…Living in a Past Generation, about his journey as a young boy living with his grandparents and the numerous adventures and discoveries he learned then and now through family geneaology; Conversations on The Neighborhood on the lasting legacy of children's educational television pioneer Fred Rogers; and his earlier memoir, Was Anybody Really Listening?…Trials and Tribulations of a Sports Broadcaster. A longtime reporter and broadcaster, John is a board member at WPSU Public Media at Penn State University and hosts the WPSU-FM Jazz Show. He has also been published in the Watershed Journal and Jeffersonian Journal magazines, and the Mirrors, Jeffersonian-Democrat, Courier-Express, Tri-County Weekend, Leader-Vindicator, Clarion News and Derrick newspapers, and the PA Wilds online blog. He resides in Brookville, Pa. with his wife, Lisa, and their cats, Rusty, Ginger and Buttercup.
