Jeff Prickett

Dr. Jeff Prickett is a professional educator who has served as an elementary, middle and high school principal. Over the course of his 25 years of public school service, Prickett also has experience as an assistant principal, dean of students, and classroom teacher.

In addition to his work as an educator, Jeff runs "The Principal Leadership Lab" podcast with his longtime friend and colleague, Adam DeWitt, serves as the co-publications chair for the Illinois Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (ILASCD), the professional development chair for the Kishwaukee Region of the Illinois Principals Association (IPA) and spends a lot of time writing, reading and hanging out with his family.

In 2016, Jeff was named the IPA Kishwaukee Region Middle School Principal of the Year, and was named a Golden Apple Stanley C. Golder Leadership Award Finalist in 2017. In 2021, Prickett was named the Illinois High School Principal of the Year.
