Kala Williams

Kala Williams is an author, Primary Reading Mastery consultant, business owner of ReadMaster, school Governor and ex Year 5 then 6 teacher. She is passionate about the teaching of Reading Comprehension and an all round lover of books. Kala spends her days delivering coaching and support to teachers both in KS1 and KS2, empowering them to deliver Whole Class Reading and Guided group reading with precision and impact using research-driven and 'what works' approaches she has refined over years of practice. She believes in investing and valuing teachers first for the benefit of all pupils. She loves seaside holidays, DIY projects, a huge fan of self-care and family time being a wife and mom of two boys plus two spirited cats.
