Deja Holmes

Deja Holmes is a self-published children's book author, teaching artist, and actor based in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Communications from Georgia Southern University. You may have seen her in The Amen Corner as Margaret, Master and Margarita as Azazello, Crumbs from the Table of Joy as Sister Lily, and in Twelfth Night as Olivia to name just a few. After graduating, she began teaching with the Alliance Theatre and Artz for the Harp, a local non-profit that teaches people of all ages how to play the harp. The countless heartwarming encounters she had with her students and the love and support from her family inspired her new children's book titled: Grams & Me.
