Millicent Eidson

Millicent Eidson invites readers into a world where animal diseases hold secrets more dangerous than any criminal. Millicent’s career began at the CDC, where the nights belonged to whispered tales of microbes dancing in her imagination.

Dr. Eidson’s alphabetical novels showcase public health heroes who champion “One Health,” the essential connection between human, animal, and environmental health. Led by Maya Maguire, a fictional veterinary medical detective, the MayaVerse offers uplifting and inspirational medical thrillers.
