Emily Pickard

Emily Pickard was born in Tacoma, Washington and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been writing stories for as long as she can remember. Just ask her 5th grade teacher. Emily feels it’s important to travel as much as possible, and has walked the Spanish Steps, gazed out over the Cliffs of Moher, walked the lava at Kilauea, even explored Istanbul’s Basilica Cistern. Ireland is one of her favorite places to visit and has been a great inspiration for her writing. When she’s not reading (often with a fluffy black cat in her lap), she can be found at a local beach.
