D.F. Pieper is a space opera science fiction author who writes the kind of sprawling, character-driven adventures he always wished existed. A creative professional with a background in illustration, design, and creative direction, he has always written fiction in some form when he could find a quiet moment. His first novel, Day of the Devourer, is a work that took years, stitched together from spare moments and boring daily commutes on trains.

When he's not building fictional universes, D.F. lives in Atlanta with his wife, two daughters, two cats, and an unhealthy obsession with spicy sauces and cheese.
